Chandler will discuss Playhouse Merced’s upcoming season; Belly-Fusion of Merced will belly-dance their way into your heart, and Crystal Langley will talk about her work as the only Theatre Production Manager for Merced United School District.

Noelle Chandler is the current Education Director and an actor and director for the Playhouse stage. She is your go-to girl for Conservatory information and quality control for children’s theatre at Playhouse Merced. In the 45 minutes a day that she’s NOT at the Playhouse, Noelle enjoys playwriting, playing with her iPhone and going to be at 9pm.

Belly-Fusion Merced was started by two friends, Michelle Byus, and Janet Hay practicing Belly Dance together. Then a couple of friends asked them to show some of their moves. 6 weeks later they had a class of 14 students!. That was in 2008. They now offer Mondays at Merced Senior center 10-11a.m for anyone 50 years or older, Wednesdays at Unity Church 6-7p.m beginners of All ages, 7-8p.m for continuing students (this is a choreography class), and Fridays at Creation Station Merced 6-7p.m beginners 7-8 Troupe time. All classes are free, but donations are gladly accepted.

Crystal Langley has nearly 20 years experience as a Theatre Production Manager, currently she works for the Merced Union High School District as the Theatre Production Manager for Buhach Colony H.S & Golden Valley H.S. and soon to be a 3rd theatre at the new El Capitan H.S. She is a playwright, director, and actor, not necessarily in that order. She has performed on stages around the Valley and her plays have been produced in L.A. and NY.
