Since 1996 Americans have been eating Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in their food without their knowledge or consent.  Scientific research repeatedly indicates that GMOs pose potentially serious health and environmental risks, yet our government continues to promote and support their proliferation.  During this talk, you will learn what GMOs are, how they are created and why, the potential health and environmental risks, and what you can do to protect yourself and the environment from them.  You have the right to know what you are eating so that you can make informed choices to protect your health.
