Debra Anne Clement is a consulting and teaching astrologer with more than 20 years of professional experience counseling clients from all walks of life.  A self-taught astrologer, she is highly regarded for her expertise in natal and predictive astrology.

Debra discovered her passion for astrology at 16 while reading Linda Goodman’s groundbreaking book, Sun Signs. Since there were no opportunities for formal instruction, she would routinely search out texts in the occult sections of bookstores and purchased horoscope wheels through the mail for family and friends which she used as practice charts to hone her skills. By 1990, she had established herself as a professional consulting astrologer, and in 1992 she taught her first astrology class.

From December 2008 – January 2012, she was the host of, a weekly Internet radio show dedicated to promoting the practical benefits of astrology and making it more accessible to the general public. Each week, Debra made astrology easy to understand as she taught lessons and shared insights in clear simple terms and demonstrated its accuracy by providing impressive no-prep readings for live callers.  A skillful interviewer who brings out the very best in her guests, Debra’s outgoing personality and ability to connect with her audience quickly made Anchored in Astrology one of the most popular astrology podcasts on iTunes.

In February 2011, she joined fellow astrologer Chris Flisher as the co-host of He Says/She Says Astrology, a popular monthly Internet radio program on Contact Talk Radio that airs on the last Saturday of each month.  During each show, these two veteran astrologers engage in lively, enlightening and at times controversial astrology-based discussions about love and life on planet earth as well as offer their respective astrological insights to live callers.

Debra is also the founder of The Astrology SalonSM, a virtual community where like-minded souls from all over the world can gather at any time to share their passion for astrology.  As its host, Debra offers her members weekly podcasts, live monthly events and a variety of study aids that educate, entertain and help enrich their members’ lives through the principles of astrology. She is a frequent visitor in its forums and feels privileged to serve as a mentor to emerging astrologers.

Although her passion has always been astrology, Debra enjoys studying and practicing a variety of metaphysical disciplines.  She recently studied under Lisa Williams at an Advanced Mediumship workshop in Dallas, Texas and is a licensed Heal Your Life® Teacher and Life Coach who offers guidance based upon the teachings of Louise L. Hay.

A member of the New York State Bar since 1999, Debra has also enjoyed a successful career as an attorney. She graduated with honors from an accelerated program at Hofstra University School of Law where she served as the founding Managing Editor of the Family Court Review. She graduated summa cum laude from Adelphi University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in American History and Literature.

Throughout the years, Debra has volunteered for a number of organizations. In addition to serving as the program coordinator for a statewide educational program for divorcing parents, she has worked as a patient aide at a local Alzheimer’s respite center and performed clerical work for the Make-A-Wish chapter in Long Island.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Debra currently resides in Nassau County with her family and their Pekingese.
